"Sugar glaze" - illustration
& Picoplasma "Character Matters" exhibition
In March/April of 2025 I illustrated these quirky folks covered in sugar icing. Later I turned the illustration into a poster for the Pictoplasma "Character Matters" open call and it got selected and exhibited in Neurotitan Gallery in Berlin during the Pictoplasma festival.

On aging and gray hair
How to age with grace, how do people deal with getting older in 2025 and which role plays hair color in all of this? These questions and more got tackled in an article I was asked to illustrate with fun and quirky characters as per usual.
Edutopia - animated stickers
In August - October 2024 I created animated stickers for Edutopia - a social network for learning and education sources published by the George Lucas Educational Foundation. The stickers are used to enhance communication in their chats. Here is a small selection of the GIFs I created - you can see the complete project at the page "Art for Brands".
"Day at the lake" - painting
This artwork, painted with gouache paint on watercolor paper, was created in my tiny but charming Parisian room in August of 2024. I got really inspired by the beauty of Paris while staying there for the summer, but the motive of people hanging out by the lake was more inspired by the landscape and lake hangouts around Berlin.
Denim jacket - upcycling project
When getting rid of most of my belongings in summer 2024 to have more freedom to travel, I took a closer look at my wardrobe and realized that there is this jacket I never wear and that could use some upcycling. At the same time, the increase of AI and its threat for artists made me want to create something physical, wearable and real. I bought some fabric medium for acrylic paint and drew a huge funky head with a popsicle character.
Service Brewing - CIA Stargate Project beer can design and animations
In spring 2024 I was lucky enough to work on an absolute dream and bucket list project of mine. Not only did I get the chance to design actual beer cans - which I always wanted to do - and got to animate it, I also got to visualize a very exciting, spiritual topic. The Stargate Project - a declassified project by the U.S. army. They were exploring the psychic realm in 1978 by hiring psychics and letting them do remote viewing and astral projection to witness events taking place at great distances and to predict major world events. Giphy - Spring themed animations
After having uploaded my animated gifs on Giphy since 2019, I finally got commissioned by Giphy in 2024 to create an official animated sticker pack for spring. The uploaded animations were trending multiple times and got me to a total of 1.7 billion views - take a look at my Giphy profile to see what else I have created.
